Located in New Hampshire, Danny’s Team is an independent, nonprofit organization intentionally set up to be free of restricting red tape and unhampered in its appropriation of funds to organizations or individuals.

Our mission is to enhance the lives of people with disabilities by providing resources for service projects, equipment and scholarships.

Everyone is a volunteer! All the activities to raise funds for Danny’s Team—all the meetings, planning and coordination as well as all the participation in the service projects—are the result of volunteer effort.

There is only one way to get on Danny’s Team: Volunteer!

If you’d like to be involved by volunteering or by making a tax deductible donation to Danny’s Team, let us know.

2010/2011 PROJECTS

•Funded the purchase of art supplies for a young disabled, NH woman to assist her in showing and selling her art work.

•Supporting the Best Buddies Program at UNH. Best Buddies is an international program that matches college students with adults with intellectual disabilities from the community. Matches meet twice per month for social gatherings. With DT’s assistance, two UNH students went to the National Conference in July to learn how to start a program. Last fall, board member Heidi Chase worked with these students on all aspects of the program. This program will be a great way to combat the isolation that many people with disabilities experience.

•Delivered a ramp to a dad in Bow, NH to provide access to his home when his disabled son visits. Full installation will be completed this spring.

•Helped in funding Campus Compact which provides grant money to regional colleges for service projects involving students working with people with disabilities.

•Partially funded a Vista position to support a”Care & Cupboard” initiative to deliver free food to the elderly and people with disabilities.

•Provided funds for special equipment for kids with disabilities in the Newmarket, NH School System.

•Contributed to the promotion of the film “Lost in Laconia”, a documentary on the Laconia State School.

•Joined with a NH non-profit to purchase clothing for a young man with a developmental disability whose family is financially unable to meet this need.
